Ingredients

3/4 cups chana dal cup soaked in water for 5 hours
3/4 cups moong dal soaked in water for 5 hours
3/4 cups urad dal soaked in water for 5 hours
3/4 cups tuvar dal soaked in water for 5 hours
1 tbsp salt or more
1 nos onion sliced
2 nos tomatoes finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp all spice powder
2 inch cinnamon stick
1 nos bay leaf
325 ml water
1 nos for tadka:onion finely chopped
1 tbsp ghee
3 nos whole red chilly
2 nos garlic cloves chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp oil
Directions
In a pressure cooker add all above mentioned things and cover the lid.
Give it 6 to 7 whistles or cook for 30 to 35 minutes.
Open the lid and mix it very thoroughly.
Heat oil and ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, onion, garlic and red chilly. Let it crackled.
Pour this Tadka in daal and mix it well.
Serve this restaurant style mix Daal with paratha or chapati and zeera rice.
